Default V-Glide 1998 Club Car

Several questions before i ask for service.

Can the V-Glide in my cart have a part number as in my photo?

Is it normal to have the battery cables very hot to the touch after 15 minutes of driving, and could the V-Glide be the problem, of any of the micro switches?

Default

1- that is a Club Cart part # but it is not a V Glide.

2-heated cables is not normal during regular use. High temp at cables could be caused by
Cables with internal corrosion or motor drawing a higher amp range than normal.
