Default Yamaha Drive high speed gears?

I see they give you 8-12 MPH increased top end. And this is a must for TV. Is this a DYI for a decent shade-tree mechanic. If not what is the typical labor charge for the installation?

I've worked on just about everything that burns gas from chainsaws to muscle cars. Is this really brain surgery? I have a lead on a nice 2009 Gas Yamaha Drive and plan to add lift kit and lights myself, but never messed with cart rears.

Thanks

Default Gears

Based on your stated skills you should not have a problem, take your time and align the shifter before closing the gear case.
