Call Mike Raysin (Michael’s Auto Repair) 352 – 365 – 2955. Address: 307 N. Villa Avenue, Fruitland Park. His shop is just west of 441, on the south side of 466A. I have used Mike for over 10 years. He is excellent. Also, he is reasonably priced and very honest. Over the years, I have sent many Villagers and others there—and always receive very positive feedback.

Phillips has a separate drive through center. You just show up and drive through if it’s a simple oil change

Nahas also. Been with them 14 yrs. Found out he paid his folks during shutdown and gave them a Christmas bonus too. Never been disappointed. Started with my Saturn when he was only in Tavares.

We definitely recommend Sumter Tire in Wildwood - about 2 blocks north of the train station on 301 in Wildwood. Run by the Williams family. Been taking care of our cars for over 8 years. Phone is (352) 748-6556.

Oil change, I have a Chevy Malibu. GM claims it requires special oil. Reduced foaming or something like that. I do have my oil changed at the dealer Nahas on route 44 in Wildwood. We've been happy.

An oil change. The person who does them is usually low person on the totem pole.
They can and do make mistakes. It is possible to cross thread the drain screw. Leave off the gasket. I had a friend years ago, not a GM car where they put the wrong oil filter on his car and it destroyed his engine.

Default Take 5 Oil Change

I have found Take 5 Oil Change at the north end of Baylee Plaza on 27/441 to be very reliable and honest. You don’t even have to get out of your car. Nice discount for vets doesn’t hurt either

Thanks to all for the comments and suggestions, as we will be bringing our GM vehicle with us and were wondering about the quality of services from nearby auto repair/maintenance places. Another thread bookmarked.
