The RV Swap Shop on 441 has a storage yard on 301 in Summerfield (about 5 miles North of 446/301 intersection).

Default RV Consignment Shops?

We are selling our 1999 Airstream Diesel Pusher. We are looking for any suggestions for an RV Consignment shop in the state. Anyone had experience with consigning an RV? We would appreciate any advice. Thanks!

You might want to pose that question to the Villages RV club.

Default Need advice on RV consignment

We will have our 2008, 26' Phoenix Cruiser motor home for sale in March. Consignment seems like the best way to go but I feel like it's going to be a hit or miss choice. Does anyone have experience doing this? What RV places have you used? Who should I avoid? How long did it take to sell it this way? What would you suggest?
Of course, if anyone's interested in buying it, please PM me. It's a nice unit with twin beds and one slide in great shape with a Ford engine. We just decided it's time to give it up.

Cool

I sold a coach via Alliance Coach in Wildwood, back in the fall. It was a 2005 Beaver, 37' DP. The coach sold in 4 days!

Alliance doesn't charge a commission; rather, they tell you what they will give you for the motorhome and then they sell it. You get the promised amount at the time of sale.

They take care of everything. The person that bought my coach actually had a trade-in that Alliance took, so that is an advantage to going with them. This is their high season and they have a lot of traffic right now.

PM me if you want any more information about my sale experience...I'm happy to share.

I sold mine at RV Swapshop, but it took about 9 months and I had to drop the price 2 times. Actually, I almost gave it away. I would recommend taking it out of the area to sell. This area is flooded with used RVs.
