Looking for a good and honest auto mechanic in the Villages area. We have a 2004 Lexus that needs a new transmission. Thank you in advance for your time and response!

Michael's Auto Repair in Fruitland Park worked on my 2004 Lexus and I was very pleased.

I can relate to this reply. I visited this place recently to troubleshoot my passenger window. Without looking at the vehicle or consulting someone, the receptionist diagnosed the problem, quoted a price for parts/labor, and was ready to schedule a service appointment day. I asked if she was the repair person and she said no.

There were a few possible causes relating to the problem so I was surprised by her confidence. I asked her if they would troubleshoot before hand and she said, "always".
I too heard positive comments about this place in the past. I just did not feel confident to pay for a part/service before anyone could get eyes on the vehicle.
