Default Transporting car

I will be moving a car from Maryland to TV in a couple of months. Any suggestions on how or a reliable company to hire for the move.
PS: Driving the car is not an option.

I would try Uship.com. There will be various contractors with user ratings and prices.

We shipped a car to Tucson and went to a web site to put in the particulars. The drivers seem to be independent contractors vs working for a specific company. They contact you with a price and timing. That was our experience.

We used Amtrak Autotrain if it is still running. brought down 4 vehicles that way. Leaves from Lorton, VA and arrives the next day in Sanford, no idea what the current rates are, but several years ago, this was cheaper than using a car shipper.
