Anyone know why dick v isn't announcing the duke game?

Maybe because he is so pro Duke ESPN was afraid the UNC fans would complain?

Disclaimer: I have no rooting interest in either school. Rutgers has not made the NCAA tourney in over 10 years and not looking like it will in the next several years.

I read he wasn't announcing this particular game. I tend to think networks just want a new face to announce games to see if the ratings change.

Just like the old, "we want to go in a different direction" type statement.

This is probably the reason. His act has worn thin and his love for all things Duke has made him hard to listen to.
