If you can’t afford the $2.00, then it’s probably time you quit golf. Do you complain about The Villages when you lose your balls and have to buy more or when your grips wear out and you have to replace them?

Stop the incessant whining and complaining.
Its the same ones, bring up their same posts 2-3 times per year.

Well have you considered operational costs have gone up. That's right, salary increases, equipment costs, maintenance costs, and additional expenses?
Did your income go up? Dont you think the folks that provide your golfing experience deserve an increase?

More for the Morse's. Why should the family suffer during this crisis?

It’s a 5.9% increase (36-34/34) over last year’s rate, not the 18% stated by the OP or even the 12.2% suggested in another post.

absolutely, I would even encourage you to expect 18% or even 20, 25% improvement (not)

it takes money to run these courses and they're not in horrible condition...you want horrible play some of the municipal courses up north

If you think their prices are too high for you, show them your resolve by only golfing outside of TV

I hear they are going to be stocking the ponds with a special kind of alligator that fetches balls from the water and spits them out on the shore. Well worth the extra cost, right?

Stop parking on the grass and use the cart path! Only those with handicapped stickers are allowed to park near the green. We’ve also seen carts being driven across the green - STOP IT!!

Why are they cutting the fairways so short again this year? It looks like they are using the same cutters as the greens. No way to get a decent lie, especially for a wedge. The grass is so short it will burn out quickly.

You are looking at this all wrong.....you currently pay $47 or $64 (priority or non priority for most courses) and on May 1 will pay $36 or $45 (-23% or -30%) and if you wait until after Noon $29 or $36 (-38% or -44%). Now don't you feel better?
