Hacienda Hills good shape
Nine of us played Lakes to Oaks at Hacienda on April 14, and found the course in overall good condition. A few tee boxes a little sparse, a couple greens had minimal bare spot or two, but fairways were adequate and greens overall good and putted as expected. No real complaints except traps were hard and not groomed.

Sorry you're disappointed in my standards. I was merely pointing out it isn't perfect but still a good course to play...unlike Havana for example. I try to give a realistic view of the courses we play, and I appreciate reading what others have found for conditions. If you don't like it, you're welcome to not read or comment. Have a nice day.

Conditions
Yes, everyone has different opinions on golf course conditions. I may be a little spoiled having been a member of a private club in upstate NY. BUT.....for the PRICES we pay, the courses should ALL be in better shape. I don’t think I should pay a premium fee, $64, and get conditions that are “acceptable”.

For the price, there should not be any bare spots and the traps should all be raked every morning. No damn excuses.

Totally agree. I think courses have been so bad we are thinking mediocre is great. Played Virginia with out of town friends who are familiar with The Villages. They could not believe the course conditions. Very disappointing.
