Course is in great shape.

Greens are some of the best in TV.

Sand traps are bad.............have not been groomed for days.
(i kno, i kno.........stay out of them)

Was a great day for a trip around Lopez this morning.

Groomed? is that like corduroy on a ski slope? If so, good analogy. Would help traps if golf courses had wider rakes. Played in Fla. for 50 years and this is 1st place that I have seen these narrow rakes.

All greens have been replaced at Lopez, quality right up there with the greens at TDS, SO, and Riley Grove. Laurel Valley being done this summer. We play rake and place in the bunkers (unless you have a fried egg) as all hope has been given up that golfers will rake after use.

Good thing you got out this morning, the wind really picked up later today. Some very challenging conditions at HH this evening.

Agree on the rakes, 18” rakes would do wonders

I could rake up my mess in the bunker and merely drag a WIDE rake over my footprints. In TV have to back up and rake 2-3 swaths in order to fix the mess.

Wide rakes won’t make a difference….most people never pick them up or use them correctly anyway

Golf course conditions have been an issue mostly for executive courses. There is a survey available to rate all of the courses. I am sure the Lopez operators would like to see your positive evaluations. You can access the survey with the following link.

Unfortunate but true for a high % of players
