Default Lopez Practice Greens…

I was wondering when the practice greens were going to have a few actual “cut” holes again? There used to be 4 “punched” holes on each practice green, but that was many months ago… the sensory feel of actually sinking a putt while practicing would be welcome, again.

I guess one could walk in and ask the pro when/if that might happen,

Why do you need actual holes dug and frequently replaced to practice you putting? They are labor intensive to maintain and hard to move. I like the ones that sit on the green. They are a little smaller than hole. If you hit them you sank the putt no bothering with bending over to retrieve ball. Also if YOU want to move them you can. You don't have to wait on our maintenance staff to change location. You want to practice long putts move them. You want to practice uphill putts move them. You want to practice downhill putts move them. The best is you are reducing the costs of maintaining the putting green.

Golf is different than bowling. How ‘bout saving money at your bowling ally by only having 3 pins. Or better yet let’s have 0 pins. We could double the revenue of each lane, save money on electricity and improve scores and dispositions at the same time.

Practice greens need cups.

I hope they never put real holes in. Why would you want that? Personally, I like to play more than the three balls that fit in a hole before you have to stoop over to fetch them out. This way, you can throw out a handful and play them from one hole to the next without ever stooping over.
