Unhappy Glenview GC

Recently played at Glenview CC on Stirrup Cup and Tally Ho. Very disappointed in the condition of the greens. They recently applied sand to the greens as all the courses do throughout the year.

BUT, Instead of using a finely granulated sand they used a cheaper version that left many stone pepples all over and needless to say that when putting many a ball did not roll to the cup but bounced to the cup or away from the cup.

Not sure who is at fault but it should not happen!

We played Stirrup Cup on Wednesday & made mention as we were playing that it seemed good to be putting on great conditioned greens.
