Palmer Course Conditions
Golfed Palmer Laurel Valley to Riley yesterday, Feb 17. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens in good condition. Thin lies on the fairways, but it's winter so that's to be expected. The good news is no bare spots observed like many other courses in TV.

that's good to hear. here is my thought. I heard that getting a rain check for being sick, or injured, is not that easy. it has to be raining to get it? well, does that coincides with us getting a rain check for crappy conditions? imagine going into the pro shop, saying your course is terrible and I want a rain check? it should be allowed, but try that excuse....

Why should thin lies in the fairways be expected in the winter. I worked at several Florida golf course back in the 80s and 90s and they always had excellent conditions int eh winter. They would over seed the fairways and greens with annual rye grass.
The golfers in The Villages have just come to accept poor conditions.

Greens at Palmer 3 weeks ago were pathetic and hope they’ve gotten better but not growing I sort of doubt it but then I’m used to good conditions and know the difference but hope this is accurate
