The pool priority is $200 a year or $260 for a couple.

Priority Memberships allow for golf discounts on championship courses, free play on Executive Courses, and allow swimming in the "Country Club" pools.

Priority gives you preferred tee times and reduced rates for golf on Championship courses and swimming pool access at the country clubs. Around $800 a year for single around $ 1000 for 2.

You're correct on 2 out of 3....... and you left a few perks out all together.

The Priority Golf membership enhancement allows you priority access to golf tee times for the Championship Courses, reduced greens fees, reduced USGA handicap Fees and eligibility in country club tournaments. Additionally, this enhancement entitles you to the use of all the country club pools, spas and tennis at Hacienda Hills Country Club. We JUST got CC membership for spouse, and pool add-on for me. In January. I hope they will extend our memberships for however many months the pools are closed. Living in walking distance to Orange Blossom was very convenient and I was looking forward to enjoying the pool. So far this year - I've gone twice. And then they closed when I was able to go a third time.

If they don't extend our membership, it's no biggie - I'll just not bother to renew, and go to the ones my amenity fees pay for instead from now on (after everything opens back up). It was a convenience plus that waterfall spa thing was a fun luxury.

It is not $200.00 per year for per person. Been here for a number of years and was never $200. We had it for seven years and found it wasn't worth it even though we played a lot of championship courses. No the developer will NOT or extend and type of credit for this. Read your contract for priority. You are up a creek without a paddle. If you want to pay close to $1000.00 per year for two people go for it.

Every resident can play on executive courses for free as long as they walk. Has nothing to do with being a priority. The discount they give isn't worth the cost of the priority price tag. We dropped it after seven years. The only priority pool worth the extra is the Country Club Hills pool. Other than that all of the pools are the same.

No one who responded to this question seems to have considered that maintaining these golf courses costs almost as much when people aren’t playing or when the pools or restaurants are closed as when they are open. The grass still needs to be cut, watered, fertilized, etc. The pools still need chemicals and cleaning. The restaurants brought in money, but now they aren’t. Those who play golf pay greens fees and take lessons and tip. If the number playing declines, so does that income. They aren’t eating and drinking after they play right now, and that costs the clubs money. There may even be other costs right now that the country clubs don’t normally have. If there is a heavy rain that leads to some cart paths flooding or some parts of the course being too wet to support carts, that costs the country clubs more money than usual.

I understand wanting a refund, but consider how many people pay amenity fees that cover the cost of the executive course, yet never golf at all. It’s similar. I have a friend who paid $250,000 to buy a membership at his club in New Jersey, and now he doesn’t live there, but can’t get his money back. I think he told me he pays $15,000 a year for his membership at Golden Ocala, plus high greens fees. It seems to me that the fees at the country clubs here are a real bargain for such beautiful courses.

Snowbirds don’t get a discount on priority fees if they are only around for three or four months a year, so essentially their priority fees subsidize those who stay all year.

If you can afford priority fees, you should not need a refund.
