Default Torpedograss is a scourge in area lawns beside the fairways!

I played both Jacaranda and Allamanda (Cane Garden) yesterday. I dislike Torpedograss which is next to the fairways. Sometimes the ball is so well-hidden in Torpedograss and hard to be located. It will not be a problem if they are kept mowed at low height! I don't understand why the golf administration chooses an invasive species over the thick grasses!
