A very dear friend of mine who passed away several years ago always had a vey good nature when he was losing his hair. He was also bugging me about when I would become a "grandpa".

The day it happened, I called him and said, "I've got good news and bad news for you", which one do you want first?

He said good news. I said I became a grandpa.

He asked what the bad news was. "I said she has more hair than you".

He was hysterically laughing.

He was a wonderful person and is sorely miised by his family, friends and grandchildren.

Sorry, this post reminded me of him.

Okay, I'm ready for the tomato throwing for those who think I am being cruel.

My grandson, who is 1-1/2 years old, called me today, and called me "Boompa."

Beautiful story....no tomatoes....it's so hard to lose a friend. He's probably still laughing...
