Default Music Ministry for a 60's child

I am new to this area. Moved up from South Florida where I had been attending Unity on the Bay in Miami. Choir was big, loud and somewhat Latin and everyone was on their feet!!! It was very moving for me. I never understood the POWER of music till I went there.

I would like to find a church in this area that has a contemporary choir that I can join. Not just "Church Hymns" but, a variety. Is that possible up here? Any ideas will be appreciated!

You might like Norma Lee's church, The Garden Worship Center; just past Market of Marion on 441, right side.

Bible based, so good, and contemporary.

Good Luck!

That is Pastor Norman Lee at The Garden Worship Center.

What a great church.

I'd welcome you to Unity of The Villages - great minister, great people but the music isn't a strong point, although I think they are working on it. The Garden Worship Center would be a good choice when it comes to music since he is also an entertainer in the area. We went there a few times, but it was a bit too theatrical for us.
