There is one at the north end of TV on 42. There is another in Wildwood. A third is an offshoot of First Baptist in Leesburg. I think they meet at the American Legion post on 466/Rolling Acres.

When Mom and I are in The Villages we attend the Village of Faith. I don't remember the exact address but it's between 466a and 301. I love their Gaither style music! We haven't been there for a year so I don't know if anything has changed.

I looked up the address. It is: 8653 CR127, Wildwood, FL.

Smile Immanuel Baptist

After several visits, Barbara joined Immanuel Baptist Church today. Moderate sized, friendly group.

First Baptist of Wildwood . Very friendly where lots of Villagers dare to escape the bubble.

If you want great bible based expository and application based preaching try First Baptist Church of Leesburg on Rt 27 just before you get into center of town. Its an old traditional city church building with a renovated sanctuary and they house several extensive social outreach ministries on their campus. Their choir, orchestra, and music is also great and they have a contemporary and traditional service on Sunday. About 2,000 member sized church drawing people from TV and the surrounding towns so its not just us older folks.

Isn't it wonderful that we have such a great selection of churches. We go to Live Oaks Community Church and really enjoy it. It's not Baptist, but it is biblically based.

I believe they are noted in the Lifestyle section. Many churches - try one this Easter.

Default Methodist Church Suggestions?

We will be coming down this weekend with friends. They are Baptist and we are Methodist. There have been some great referrals so far for Baptist churches. Any suggestions on Methodist churches we can throw into the hat for us all to choose from?

After visiting all of the local baptist churches, we settled on Tri-State Baptist Church in Rolling Acres. The primary reason for doing so was their paster, George's sermons and his very obvious love for God!
