Did you get a drone for Christmas? The Drone Flyers Club will be giving free flying and safety lessons at the Soaring Eagle ball fields on Saturday 12/29/18 from 9am to Noon.

If you know someone who may have received a drone for Christmas or who already has one that may need help learning how to fly safely please share this information with them.

I don’t have a drone, but funny story. Got one 2 years ago for grandson, 11 yrs old. Son-in-law takes him out to the driveway to show him how it’s done. Son-in-law flew it over the house and into the pond out back. First 5 minutes after it was unwrapped.

Not an uncommon story, stories like this and what happened this week at Gatwick airport is exactly why the Drone Flyers Club is hosting the training and safety event this weekend.
