Default Farkle Dice Game

Does anyone in The Villages play farkle (not on computer, the actual dice game)? Learned to play from my aunt in MA but no one I talk to seems to have ever heard of it.

I thought you were selling some type of new, sparkly jewellery.

Used to be one of my favorite bar games. Won lots of money whenever everyone else was drunk (I never drank much). It's also known as shing-a-ro (however it is spelled -- Chinese).

YES, its a great game. My kids introduced me to it - I am addicted. If you can find at least one other person to play, I would love to join you. I think three or four people playing makes it a much better game.

To all that are interested in playing: what village do you live in? If there is a central rec center with a games day, maybe we could meet where it is convenient for all. I see four folks who are interested. I have the dice, "shaker" and instructions. I will admit, like DianeM, it has been awhile and would need a refresher, but would love to play again. I live in the village of Poinciana. Please respond if interested.
