Try GarVino's at Lake Sumter Landing. They sell cigars and allow people to smoke in designated area onsite: I don't know if that extends to pipes but even if not they might know of such a club somewhere else in TV.

To the OP,

Stop by at Garvino’s and ask . They would probably know if such a group exists and if not , they may be able to assist in creating one .

There is a “smoking room” on the premise.

Why

There's a pipe-smokers meeting every week at:

1503 BUENOS AIRES BLVD STE 140
THE VILLAGES, FL 32159

And it's golf cart accessible!

Lots of folks want to die in perfect health.
Not me
I enjoy my Scotch, my cigar, bacon, chocolate and rare prime steaks.

 Feeble attempt at humor? Maybe some of the people that go there for treatment would not find it very humorous. Oh, by the way, it's NOT golf cart accessible either. :ho:
I agree with post #3.

In the "historic side" of the Villages there's lots of pipe smokers, but I have a feeling the OP is not using the same type of pipe or the smoking same substance that they are.

Over 2,000 clubs in the Villages and no Pipe Smokers Club, but you can start a club if none exists.

Too board of a question. Is there a corn cob pipe smoking club?
Will you meet single women at a pipe smoking club?

Cuervo 06-12-2024 06:55 AM

I never got into smoking either pipes or cigars and as far as cancer if you do not know the risk, you're taking well that's up to you.
What I do like is the smell of both, but I know lots of people who can't stand it.
What I wonder if you have a club in The Villages and it is in a hall how do you get rid of the smell for the people who do not want that smell around.
Instead of asking on this site maybe you should visit some local smoke shops I'm sure they might know of some clubs if they don't run one themselves.

My brother's mother-in-law smoked a corncob pipe. She lived to age 99, very active until just a few months before she died, and had a mind as sharp as a tack the whole time. Not a bad record. Dunno if she was a pipe smoker when she met her husband, but it wouldn't surprise me as he was a pipe smoker too. As a matter of fact her husband gave me quite a collection of used pipes after he had half his lower jaw removed due to cancer most likely caused by his pipe smoking. Got several years' use out of them after replacing the stems on some.

So--can you meet single women at a pipe smoking club? Well, if it happened once, it can happen again.

Have you had someone close die from emphysema gasping for last breath of air? First comes spots, lung removal, then the oxygen tanks, then death bed laying in agony. Only then they realize their mistake. But nobody gets out of life alive, so what’s few years or decades.

I wonder how long she would have lived not smoking? As kid we smoked grape vines and realized very quickly not smart thing to do.

Garvinos on Canal Street has room where you can smoke your cigas with self-rightous comments.

Hard to say. But she was a tough old bird. Back in the day I logged summers during high school and she and her older sister, both of whom were in the area at the "cabin" for the summer, decided to spend a day peeling poplar pulpwood for me. Great having the company AND the help.

We never smoked grape vines (I doubt that they grow that far north) but our high school had numerous students from a local reservation and they introduced me to "indian tobacco" as they called it. Horrible is too mild a word for that stuff! Once, maybe twice, and that was enough for me.
