In a closed thread there was a gentleman in 2022 that started a scale model car building club. Does anyone know of anyone in The Villages who does that hobby or is that club still around? I am interested. David

I started a Scale Model Club back in April of 2022. We have grown to over 70 members. We meet on the first and third Tuesday of the month, 6:30pm at the Everglades Rec Center, Rocky Mountain room.

We have car modelers as well as planes, armor, ships and sci-fi. We even have a few railroad modelers as well. Out topic for September is Washes and Weathering. Our meetings on the first Tuesday of the month we normally have a presentation. On the third Tuesday it is open mic... bring something to work on or you have questions about, not that you can't ask questions on the other night.

We are planning our first show for April of next year.
