At the Awards Ceremony at Wildwood Middle High School on May 20, 2022, the Puc Puggy Chapter NSDAR presented James Palermo with a $1,500 scholarship towards his continued music education at the Central College of Florida. Based on his application, Palermo demonstrated outstanding musical academic achievements, participation in band, continued personal growth, and a clear sense of direction and purpose for his future.
