Default Service Academy groups

Hi, I'm a 73 grad of USNA. My child bride and I are intending to purchase our last home in the Villages sometime next year. Are there any clubs or groups of Service Academy grads about? Nothing is more fun than watching the Army-Navy game with a group of fellow alums.

Thanks

Oh boy! I feel an Army-Navy game party coming on. My son-in-law graduated USNA in 1980 something (89?) and my daughter works for the alum. assoc. doing a lot of the computer stuff. However, I'm a huge Army fan! Hopefully there will be service academy groups. You're not going to like this, but it's meant in fun -- GO ARMY, BEAT NAVY

Not offended at all, hasn't happened in SIX years and looks unlikely to happen this year as well. :#1:

I've lost big bucks to my son-in-law ($6.00 - $1.00 a game). He's in Texas and we call each other up when there's a good play. So even though I'm sitting in my Go Army chair waving my black and gold pom-pom and wearing my hand-knitted hat I made when I was 14 that also says Go Army, they still seem to lose. We don't give up hope. This will be our year! Today is Army's first game of the season. GO ARMY!

The nice thing about the Villages is that if there is not a club that you want to join then you can see if you can get enough Villagers that want one and start it yourself.

You can check the Recreation News from the Daily Sun that is posted online to see if your club appears anywhere.

As a Marine and a member of the Department of the Navy I say:

Go Navy - Beat Army!!

Sorry, guys, but this ARMY person has a different outlook!

Go Army, Beat Navy

Even though many of my local friends are retired Navy guys!
