I'm not sure about slot cars specifically, but you should look into The Villages Motor Racing Fan Club, www.villagesracingclub.com As the name says, they love ALL types of racing, mostly full-size vehicles. But they have just begun to organize RC racing. My point is some members may also share your enthusiasm for slot cars.

Someone mentioned this a long time ago and I was interested but I don't think it ever materialized. I am a female and would like to race if there were other females. Keep me posted. I don't believe there is a slot car club in TV.

Don count me in. I usually play golf in the morning and then off to the pool for a refreshing dip. Once done with the pool it's off to one of the nine country clubs for lunch.

I played with slots a long time ago. Can you still get bits and pieces to build them?

A google search indicates, Yes you can! In fact, there is an impressive slot car race track/store in Ocoee, just down the turnpike a bit. miraclemileraceways.com

Intending no offense...in fact offering support and encouragement: Lack of other female racers hasn't stopped Danica Patrick; it shouldn't stop you, M!

If this slot car thing gets on track (hah!) you better get in there and start swapping paint! Life's too short, and you deserve to life it your way.

We were all wondering if you could make it.
