Having just moved to the Villages. Being a car guy,I thought I would like to have fun with slot cars again,having not done this for over 35 years.Well I set up in my garage a track layout and i was wondering? I'm not sure about slot cars specifically, but you should look into The Villages Motor Racing Fan Club, www.villagesracingclub.com As the name says, they love ALL types of racing, mostly full-size vehicles. But they have just begun to organize RC racing. My point is some members may also share your enthusiasm for slot cars.

I might be interested. Long time since I played with slots. What size- 1/32?

Someone mentioned this a long time ago and I was interested but I don't think it ever materialized. I am a female and would like to race if there were other females. Keep me posted. I don't believe there is a slot car club in TV.

Don count me in. I usually play golf in the morning and then off to the pool for a refreshing dip. Once done with the pool it's off to one of the nine country clubs for lunch.

A google search indicates, Yes you can! In fact, there is an impressive slot car race track/store in Ocoee, just down the turnpike a bit. miraclemileraceways.com

Intending no offense...in fact offering support and encouragement: Lack of other female racers hasn't stopped Danica Patrick; it shouldn't stop you, M!

If this slot car thing gets on track (hah!) you better get in there and start swapping paint! Life's too short, and you deserve to life it your way.
