Default Swedish Weaving?

Is there a group that does swedish weaving in the Villages? If so do they welcome beginners?

I don't think so. But there are a couple of groups that are for any kind of stichery or needle arts - my bet is that if you go to one of those with your current project, you will find someone who has done it or knows something about it.

Plus, you can always try to start a new group, but since it sounded like you are looking for help/guidance, I think your best bet is to try an existing needle arts, etc. group first, maybe find some kindred souls and then perhaps start your group then.

I have to confess I had to google "Swedish weaving" to see what it is - looks kind of like smocking or counted thread stitching to me (I think there's also another name for that, which escapes me at the moment), and I think that would fit right in with one of the generic groups that are around.

Hi Tsew22,
Surely you can find other Swedes here who have had too much to drink.
