In addition to nmerous home games, I've been told :smiley: by golfing buddies of tournaments in Laurel Manor and St. Marks.

There is also a free bus ride service up to the Ocala Poker room from various stops in/around TV.

I may not get much house-hunting done next week. Just come down and play poker.

Some of the games are:
1. Tuesday: 12:30 Alamanda Rec Center
2. Tuesday: 5:30 Lake Miona
3. Wed.: Laural Manor 6PM
4. Thursday: 5:30 Lake Miona
5. Friday: 12:30 Laural Manor
6. Saturday: 5:30 Laural manor
7. Sunday: 5:30 Laural Manor

There are others including Mallory, etc. but these are some which have
good games. Typically the buy in is $20 and there are no "re buys".
Player's get 18,000 in chips. They are all good games. New players are
welcome and if there is a person who is new, the "older" players will help them
learn and play.

Many Weekly games

there are many weekly HOME games ,,, the best way to get started is to go to the games at the rec centers,, meet some folks they get to know you ,, you will get invited,, or find players to have in your own home. TV frowns on open gambling ,, how they get by playing BUNCO is beyond me... but it is what is... I have heard there is a restaurant that has an open tourney ,, however I have know idea which one... good luck

There are a couple of poker clubs that meet in some of the clubhouses (sorry, don't know when or which ones).

Hi
We will be visiting for the fist time for 6 weeks & am interested in any type of poker. Is there a way for me to learn more & join in.

We appreciate this info as we will be visiting TV for about 2-3 weeks. We enjoy a good game of Texas Hold'em. My question is this, do they play by casino rules or some variation? Is it always a tournament game or are there just regular games going on?

Either way, it sounds like we can enjoy some poker table time while we continue to investigate life in TV. Thanks!

I see an ad every now and again in the Sun for a shuttle from TV to there and back on Wednesdays.

I was there yesterday. Nice place but not real fancy. There were 3 tables running of the 28 they had. Two were 1-2 and the one I was at was 2-5. Plenty of action at my table. The tournaments start at 7PM? but are very low stakes so you can't get in too much trouble. I was told that Wednesdays are really busy so I may go back today. It took me about 50 minutes to get there but traffic was light. Real easy to get to just get off I75 Exit 368 turn right on 318 and it is 3 miles on the left.
