Default Villages Computer Club - Buying a Computer or a Printer

Our next meeting will be at Rohan Rec Center on Friday, Sept. 20, 2019 at 1 pm. The title of our scheduled presentation is “Tips for Purchasing a Computer Platform & a Printer”

The fall season brings cooler weather but also great sales on electronic devices with standout possibilities being Cyber Monday and Black Friday. These sales provide excellent opportunities to purchase various electronic devices at significantly reduced prices.

However, for those considering the purchase of a new computer or printer the myriad choices can be confusing and overwhelming.

In his talk titled “Tips for a PC or Printer Purchase – no baseball bat required” scheduled for Rohan 1pm Sept 20th, Peter Cronas will provide guidance to help potential buyers make rational purchase choices. For those considering such a purchase this talk is an excellent resource - be sure to come!

Our regular meetings are held Fridays at 1 pm. At various rec centers. The schedule is found later in this email.

For many Villagers that don't need the full power of a Windows PC, a Chromebook is a good solution.
If all you do is surf the web, do Facebook, Email, online banking and little spreadsheets and word docs, then a Chromebook is for you.
You never need antivirus software, Malware Bytes, Ccleaner or any other program to clean up your PC.
