One of the most important things every computer user can do to protect themselves from the bad actors is to use strong and unique passwords for each of their online accounts. However, managing the ever-increasing number of passwords has become a very daunting task especially since many sites have specific requirements for passwords. John Campbell & Peter Cronas will share with you, facts, tips, and recommendations for creating and storing safe and effective passwords. In a joint presentation they will review cloud based proprietary password management solutions and a locally resident non-proprietary password management solution. You don’t want to miss this talk based on the truly critical nature of the content. Our meetings are open to all Villages residents and feature a 45 minute presentation on a subject of interest, followed by a short break for refreshments, 50-50 and door prizes.
