Researching family history is an activity that can provide many hours of enjoyment and possibly some surprises with the discovery of long-lost or unknown relatives. Moreover, family history research has become much easier with the availability of powerful software to speed data searches. In his talk titled” Genealogy” scheduled for La Hacienda 1pm November 1st, Gene Clark will explore various aspects of genealogy including a brief outline of how to go about searching and the pros and cons of different software programs.
