Calling All Rhode Islanders !!!!
I understand there is a R.I. club that meets regular. When and where? I do know about a Wednesday night card night featuring some old friends over at The Paradise Rec Center. I WILL be attending that event, however, there is my lovely bride and she too wants to meet some Roe Dylanders.
Got Autocrat ! (IF you know what I mean!) Got some nasty Gansett too! Del's doesn't travel well. I spent the first 50 years of my life "on the Island." The bride hails from "No School F...../G.........!"

Yes, there is a Rhode Island group. I believe they meet on the first tuesday of the month. Look in the recreation section of the newspaper.
I come from Rhode Island also....keep in touch!

Liberty Park here in The Villages. Will be full time in July. Will be joining up RI club next fall. |

Hello Fellow Rhode Islanders! Just a reminder that theTuesday April 5th meeting is our annual Luau. Paradise Rec Center 6:30 PM Tickets are sold in advance ONLY - there will be NO TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR. (We need to have an accurate head count for the caterer) Ticket price is $15.00 per person for members and $20 per person for non members. Deadline for tickets is Monday March 28th. To reserve your tickets call Nancy Gavin email ngavin1966@gmail.com or George Hayes email crazyhazy12@yahoo.com Checks made out to the RI Club must be mailed to xxxxxxxxxx Luau menu will be Ambrosia Salad, Polynesian Chicken, Hawaiian Beef tips, Hawaiian stir Fried Vegetables, Hawaiian Fried Rice, and a Taste of the Pig!! Dress in your Hawaiian Shirt and Skirts as we will be entertained by the hula dancers - and you can learn to hula as well!! Hope to see you there! |

My wife and I are currently living in RI but we are in the process of selling our house and hope to be buying a home in TV shortly. We plan to revisit shortly and fine-tune our search. Sounds like some of you have recently moved, does anyone have any advice for us? Do's & don't, likes & dislikes will be helpful.
