Is there any place in particular where Jets fans hang out? If not, let's start one. I'll be back in TV in a couple of months and hate the idea of being surrounded by the enemy.

I have the NFL package, problem is I don't move to TV until 2013. I'll look for Jet fans as soon as we arrive.

Still cheering for New Jersey, Blondie? I thought by now you would be a Bills fan.
Watch my Broncos; they may even make the playoffs this year!!!

Hey, you never know. The Broncos play some tough teams this year but their schedule doesn't look too horrible. In any case, they'll be fun to watch. I've always liked Denver.
In the area of New York State where we live, the New Jersey Meadowlands is really convenient, much easier than Shea used to be, back in the day. Call them the Jersey Jets or the NY Jets, they're still my team. It definitely ain't easy being a Jets fan.

Yes, bluedog, Jets fans are some of the most loyal in all of the NFL. Formerly from NYC, 1969 was a good year for us in both football and baseball (can Baltimore ever forget both those disappointments?). While living in the Denver area of Colorado, I had occasions to sit with Winston Hill, in his little restaurant, and reminisce about his glory years and taking a beating protecting Broadway Joe's backside. When last I lived there(2004), he operated a small BBQ rib joint on Arapahoe Road.

Winston Hill was an incredible football player. No way would Joe Willie have been successful without Hill.
I was at the Meadowlands last year when the Jets honored Hill at halftime. The Jets stunk big time (that was the second Miami game when they kept giving the ball away) but the halftime ceremony with old number 75 was great.

Let's not forget about the Knick championship against the Baltimore Bullets in 1969. Yes Hill was great!

Yes, Baltimore really had a rough year in '69. I loved it.

Gators Dockside sound good to me. I'll expecially be there Saturdays wearing my "U" shirt. Change to "Dolphins" shirt on Sundays.
