Default LSU Tigers Talk

As an LSU grad, glad to see where we have moved from a 5 point dog to just a 4.5 point dog. Someone must have placed a bet on the Bayou Bengals.
Geaux Tigers!!!

Looking forward to the game. I have to be for or against a team to make the game interesting and neither team means much to me except Alabama is coached by Nick Sabin. After what Sabin, an incurable lier, did to the Dolphins, I have LSU to cheer for.

Didn't Sabin coach LSU before the Dolphins?

I believe he did. My beef is he coached the Dolphins for about 2 years. All the reporters kept asking him if he is going to Alabama when the opening became available. He told reporters " listen, I'm tired of answering this question, I'm staying here and don't ask anymore" or something to that effect. Two days later a moving van pulled up to his house and he was gone.
Actually he was about as bad a coach for the Dolphins as they have now.

Default Sabin/LSU

He did in fact coach the Tigers. Had a beautiful home on a lake near Baton Rouge. Dropped us like a hot rock for Miami. Dropped Miami for the Tide, and 5 mil per year. Geaux Tigers!

I don't have a dog in this fight but it should be a great game that will go towards who will will the natonal championship.

Still have a ways to go before being crowned.

On paper was a great game. On TV, not so good.

I gave up after the end of the fourth quarter. I figured I could read about it in the Daily Sun this morning.

This game should have done nothing to keep their 1 -2 ratings in the BCS.

I never could figure it out. If #1 beats #2 then shouldn't they be ranked the same again in the BCS especially it it was a close game? What will happen is LSU will remain #1 and Alabama drop several places. #1 is suppose to be better than #2 and that's what happened. That doesn't make #'s 3-4-5 better than 2 because #2 lost to #1. Just my way of thinking I guess.

I've never figured it out either. All I know is that the loser has no claim to the championship as long as there is another undefeated team. The loser of this game should be out of contention. But, unfortunately, that doesn't always happen.

I would suspect that Bama would move down a few notches but if some other teams with no losses did a job on their opponent then they might move to #1. There are teams with no losses that are not at the top due to the strength of their opponents.

I guess we will see tomorrow when the new ratings come out.

Looks like Alabama only dropped one notch - they're #3.

LSU - 'Bama was the game of the weekend - well, the 2nd best game of the weekend.

Giants / Pats was terrific !!!!!
