Default Oklahoma Sooner Talk

Have searched the forums and clubs in TV area and haven't seen any Oklahoma clubs or fans. Anyone interested in gathering at a local pub to cheer on the Sooners (and Gators!) Jan 8 or does anyone know of something scheduled?

While we are not there permanently yet, we are Sooner fans. We would be interested in a Sooner club when we finally move in a couple of year. In the meantime, Boomer Sooner!

Default Oklahomans?

Hey Deb,
Just did a 'search' for Oklahoma and found this thread. Well, just as well you didn't get a bunch of Gators to reply! We just recently sold a place in an adult community inhabited with mostly Gators and they were very unpleasant winners. The only fans I remember that were worse were the LSU fans at the Sugar Bowl when we lost too. Oh, speaking of losing, we also were at the Orange Bowl when USC blew us out! LOL! Hey, but we're still getting to the BCS, well until injuries prevent, most years!
Anyway, not many Sooners around, are there? We moved to Florida from Norman after Carol finished her Master's at OU. That was almost 22 years ago.
We don't line 'in' The Villages but nearby in Ocklawaha now. We both just retired last year.
Well, nice to read an Okie's post. I've missed that twang!
Take care,
Rich

Anyone following the Sooners? Any interest in getting a club/ group together of Oklahomans -- OU or OSU fans?

Thinking--hoping, just haven't pulled the trigger yet--to move in twelve months to TV. Diehard fan here, wondering what y'all do for TV coverage down in this SEC land? Living in Texas now, and haven't missed a TV game in years, who has the best solution (DirecTV, Dish?). This post kind of answers ikelihood of watch parties--at least NOT YET!!

Thumbs up #4 Oklahoma Sooners play #1 Alabama Crimson Tide.

OU finishes No. 4 in College Football Playoff ranking, to play No. 1 Alabama

Notre Dame vs. Clemson in the other game where the winners of these two play for the national title.
