Default Apple i pad froze up

APPLE I PAD FROZE UP CAN NOT OPEN.TRIED RESTART NOTHING.

ANY HELP? WHERE IS THE NEAREST APPLE STORE ? LOCATE.

mine did that and I had todo a hard reset: — Hold down the 'sleep/wake' button AND the 'Home' button simultaneously for about 10 seconds or until the Apple logo appears.I googled the "fix".. there is lots of info on Frozen iPads..

Forget the Apple Store! You'll have to wait,wait and wait! Terrible service! Bring it to the Verizon store and they do a hard boot for you without question and quickly!

Believe it or not i was talking to my neighbor telling him my problem and he took a look at it an fixed it.
He said it was due to a recently update causing the problem.

Hold the round button and the power button in at the same time until it reboots. Hopefully that’ll work.
