I Hate hate hate this app that the Sumter Library uses for ebooks checkout.. I have reinstalled it twice this weekend and still having trouble.. any hints or anyone else having trouble with this reading app??

It is a lousy App, and I don't know why the Sumter County library still uses it. Get a Lake County library card, and use the Overdrive App. With the Overdrive App, it is very easy to transfer library books to a Kindle Ereader. Also, if you want to borrow ebooks from any library, don't buy a Nook.

$40 a year to join that library since I am a Sumter County resident.. only Marion.. Lake, etc.. can join w/o fee

Yes, but if you read a lot of library books, it may be worth it. Also, if you have a temporary home somewhere else or can find another free library, you may be able to get a library card that uses the Overdrive App. On the internet, you can be anywhere and check out ebooks.
