Default keyboard problem I think?

we have window 10 of HP laptop. The key "d" is not response, may be junk/dirt
Can you help

Would this work. Using the tablet create a new yahoo account. Open the old yahoo account and have it forward everything to the new account. Go to the desktop and open the new account and see if everything was forwarded. Just a guess based on a little research.

You can reassign a key.
Buy a new external one from Walmart for a few bucks.
