Default Desperate for computer Help

I run a club in the villages with almost 500 villagers. I cannot find anyone in the club who is computer savvy to set up our email system. Someone tried Google groups but we had had constant problems with it We are about to lose the club if I don't find someone to handle membership. Any suggestions?? I need someone to set up a system where I can email All members

I do not have the contact info in front of me, but there was a recent thread on computer help that had LOTS of contact info. Try searching this site for computer and help (use advanced search). Also, it would help readers if you could include the email system you are using, for example I use OUTLOOK, which has a mail merge feature that would probably do what you want, but I am way to rusty with that function. If you are using one of the 'free' email services, you may need to make multiple mailings, as some email services may label you as a scammer if you have too any addresses in your emails.
Hope this helps.

I use gmail groups without any problems, albeit I don't have 500 e-mail addresses in my groups. gmail does have a number of limits. You may want to google the limits and perhaps try creating multiple, smaller groups, say 100 e-mail address for each group.

I send out multiple emails every week to more than 300 people.
I use MailChimp. I was able to import all the email addresses from an EXCEL spreadsheet. Works great.

In using many different e-mail apps since the late 80's, I find the web based Gmail the one I like the best.

Our group, which has a little over 1,000 emails also switched to MailChimp and it has worked great for us.

As long as your mail list is less than 2,000 mailings and your don't exceed 12,000 mailings per month it's free and very easy to use.

Our neighborhood association uses Pricing :: HOA Express but it's $300 a year for a lot more than emails.
