Question EcoNet App Configuration Question

I have an Ikonic tankless water heater in my new home. The heater has a recirculation pump. I have connected the heater to the EcoNet app and I can interact with the heater via the app.

What I would like to be able to do is schedule the pump to operate on a certain schedule. It seems that I can select “Schedule” in the settings and I can see how the heater should respond throughout the day. When I view the status of the heater, the app reports that it’s “Following Schedule” and “Recirc pump not circulating”. What setting(s) do I need to tweak to have the pump start automatically between, say, 8AM and noon, then the heater is on-demand only between noon and 5PM, then recirculate again between 5PM and 9PM before shutting down for the overnight?

I have contacted Rheem with this question; I’m waiting their response. If they respond, then I will post the solution here. In the meanwhile, does anyone have any suggestions?

Looking at YouTube. Mostly fundamental.

Thank you for sending a link to that YouTube video. However, the presenter’s heater is different than mine. I can change the temperature settings in the schedule, but I still don’t see how to control the recirculating pump. It’s default to “Off.”

Unhappy It’s a known issue

The Rheem people recommended that I contact the EcoNet people, which I did last week. The support person with whom I spoke said that having the pump operate on ANY schedule is a recognized bug and I ended the call with the understanding that a fix was not likely in the near-term. 🙁

The result, then, is I can choose to run the pump continuously (even while we are asleep) or use the heater as if there were no pump at all—On-Demand. There is a “Timer” option, which might provide some benefit.
