The wife got a message on her I-Pal that Malware was detected. It then directed her to a link. Did not try it. Is there something out there that can check / clean an I-Pad. Please message me if you can.

Device: iPad & iPhone
Cost: $0.00
App: Weatherbug
Comments: Weatherbug is a weather application that provides weather information on cities, worldwide. This app is simply beautiful on the iPad and includes current conditions, 7 Day forecast, Camera Views and a zoom-able weather map. iPhone version is also a good weather app.

Device: iPhone
Cost: $0.00
App: Golfshot Lite
Comments: This app is for keeping golf score and statistics. I've only used it once, but it was very easy to use and provided some interesting statistics about my game. You can keep score for your 4 some, if you wish. There is a paid version of this app ($29.99), which is a GPS locator, as well. App has thousands of golf courses, including those in The Villages. The GPS on the iPhone will locate the closest courses to your current location. This is very useful, if you are in an unfamiliar area.

Device: iPhone
Cost: $0.00
App: Shazam
Comments: This was one of my first apps and I believe one of the most amazing. The apps will "listen" to any music source (Radio, CD, TV, your humming, etc.) and will identify the artist and song. Once identified, you are normally presented with options to purchase from iTunes or many times, you can watch a YouTube video of the song.

In general I use as few apps as possible, but that being said can you recommend one that will block all the B.S. calls I have been getting recently on my iPhone. I never answer a call that is not from someone on my contact list, but it seems that lately the majority of calls I get are from recognized numbers and scammers.

Key Ring Reward Cards

for iPhone

Take a photo of the front & back of each affinity card - such as Marriott Bonvoy member, AARP Rx discount card, ABC Fine Wine & Spirits. Cards sort to alpha order, easy to open and use. I put my Costco card, and all my airline cards & State Department US Embassy cards on it too.

I find Iexit invaluable when we travel. It lists every restaurant/gas/hotel/etc by exit on every highway so you always know what is coming up.

Why would you call this thread "IPhone and IPad" apps? They are just apps and most of them are also available for Android devices.

My guess is that they own an iPad and an iPhone and they were starting a thread based on their experiences...

“most” being the key word. You’d probably give him/her heck if one was suggested that wasn’t available on Android.

Well, the 1st iPhone was released in 2007... And the iPad was released in 2010...

And the initial apps were iOS only...

My only point was that these are not "IPhone" apps. They are apps that almost everyone can download. More people have Android devices than have IPhones.

When the thread was started, they probably WERE only iPhone Apps...
