Don't worry about your 'do' either, you'll be dressed for the occasion.
We will stick with the crowds for now, but do avoid malls during the last 6 weeks of the year.

A number of the EA Sports/Games apps are "on sale" for .99

Many of these are regularly 2.99-9.99

Includes Scrabble, Tiger Woods Golf, NFL Madden, Tetris, Sim City, Trivial Pursuit.

Some are IPAD only, others are Universal (iPad and iPhone).

Don't know how long the sale is good for or which are particularly good apps. Just an FYI.

Here's a new free app:

Auryn Ink -- it's a free hand watercolor drawing/painting program; I'm no artist but it was fun to play with and produced some nice results.

Another recent freebie is "Me and I" ... this app lets you take any photo or image file and duplicate any portion of it. You then twist and turn to manipulate the symmetrical image. It can produce some very interesting effects (3 eyes, chicken neck,etc). A fun app. You can save the manipulated image to another file name.

Absolutely hooked on Angry Birds and Cut the Rope. You can now Video call with Skype (Iphone 4) to any Skype users on any PC which is very cool

This app might save you the need to buy a need printer as older printers are not Ipad wireless capable. Check the reviews to see if the app is something that would meet your needs.

OK I have a computer, a kindle and I just purchased an iphone; I'm trying to figure out how it works and I'm loving it. Now I'm hearing about Ipads and I'm wondering why I need one. I perked up when I heard that there are apps for artists that allows you to sketch on one. Is this true? What are the benefits of owning an Ipad? Thanks

A long as you're on a WiFi connection, Whistle will work anywhere in the world. We just returned from Germany and I used Whiste all the time to call friends and family in the US. You might also want to check out Google Voice, which also lets you make free phone calls to the US.

Hi Barefoot.... I'm here, actually in TV finally!

To rate an app, just go back into the app store and go to the app you want to rate...just like when you downloaded it the first time. Scroll down and you'll see "Write a review". Take that option and you can give the app 1 to 5 stars and write and few comments for future users.

I recommend "Flight Tracker Pro"..It cost $9.99 but is worth the price.
You can track any flight in detail, (e.g. Time left, Time of arrival, how
far the flight has traveled, how far to go, altitude, speed, gate of
departure, gate of arrival, % on time, % late by 15 min., etc.etc.)
It will also show a map of the flight path and where the plane is at that
time.
