I think Brother Laser Printers are great.

Brother printers use an ink drum that can get you thousands of sheets printed. If you need color, they might not be an option.

Very happy with this HP product line. Vast improvement over previous model. Completely new form.

The setup is much less complicated.

Look at cost of ink cartridges. Company's almost sell printer at cost, but to replace the ink is 1/2 the cost of the printer.

Epson Ecotank. Initially more expensive but you will save hundreds of dollars not having to buy expensive ink cartridges. Have the one below and there are new models. Have not had to buy ink for years and when I do it is much less than one cartridge.

I have had a few printers over the last 20 years. The canon I have now is very nice and is wireless. More importantly is to check the price of cartridges. Check eBay. I always purchase off eBay. Have never had a problem. They are very inexpensive and work fine.

I buy my printers from Amazon. If you have a problem, they will make it right.

Epson Eco tank

Have had an Epson Eco tank over 3 years now and love it. Bottles of ink instead of cartridges 3 colors and black at about 12 bucks each In three years I have only bought ink once and I go through paper by the blocks. $220 for the printer but that's only 3 sets of cartridges.

Wow, I'm shocked at how many of you still use printers. Haven't needed one for years now.

It is not true that use of an off-brand ink cartridge will void your printer warranty. Though printer manufacturers "recommend" that you use their ink, and often imply that you are at risk, they cannot void your warrant. The federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act of 1975 made this unlawful.

We have an HP Envy. It’s an air printer I can print from my phone or IPhone as well as the computer. Can print from any place in the house. Bought one for granddaughter and most recent our son. Newest have upgraded photo printing. We are very pleased.

What is model # and how old is it? Thanks

rockyhyder 02-01-2021 01:39 PM

We use the Canon TS5120. It connects via your wireless router which means you can use it with your smartphone, tablet or computer.
