My one son has a iphone4s and the other two boys have droids. I have never had a droid so I could not comment....but I would think that with a wife having an ipad, you going with a mac w/lion (very ios5-like) if you went with the iphone4s you could all do facetime, etc.
I would favor the iphone if only for Siri......I could see advantages to all being with ios5 with facetime, apps, etc.....

I am with Verizon and ddon't get a signal at my home in the villages. I am with Verizon. Is anyone else having that problem ???

i am in bridgeport i have sprint,,,, solid as rock,,, all over my home,,, have never regretted having the sprint network,, they sponsor NASCAR,,, i support them,,, i am loyal to those things i believe in and those who support what i enjoy,,,, ..just the thoughts of an AMERICAN

I got rid of Sprint because I couldn't pick up a good signal especially in Lake Sumter. Switched to Verizon and it works great.

I like the phone but hardly use Siri. It does not work like the TV advertisements show. She has trouble understanding what I say and mostly provides me with links to websites to answer my questions. On TV they make it appear that you can hold a conversation with Siri and talke normally. Nope, not going to happen.

Right-on, Vinny. Makes for great marketing hype.

However, sometimes Siri works better if I just say a couple of key words, instead of trying to make a sentence.
