I also use Newegg, but also check Tiger Direct, they have great deals as well. I have owned Thinkpads, Macs, Dell and HP. I like the Macs if you go new latest and greatest, but also very expensive when compared to others. Dell, their wireless connectivity keeps dropping out, and this problem can't seem to be solved. Happens on multiple laptops. HP, I have personally had many problems. There all in one printer is going to be thrown out the window very soon. It goes through more gyrations on start up then any printer I have ever owned. It works fine once moving, but takes a long long time to get started.

So if money is no object, go with Mac. If it is go with Thinkpad/Lenovo. They are very reliable and user friendly.
