Default Smart door lock

Does anyone have a smart door lock that works with iPhone? Yale Assure Lock Touchscreen Deadbolt does, but any others or comments about the Yale Lock would be appreciated.

Thank you!

I installed a Yale AssureLock SL in place of our stand-alone deadbolt in May, 2020. It was easy to install and set up, and has worked reliably. I installed the Z-Wave Plus smart module in the lock and it linked easily to the SmartThings hub in our home. It's easy to set up and delete guest codes (use one for our home watch service when away, for example) but I haven't figured out how to get it to report what code was used for each specific unlock command (not sure if it will do that, but all on camera anyway so not a big deal).

I changed the AAs in the lock at the 1-year mark and they were still going strong. The lock has a feature that allows you to use a 9-v battery held against two contacts on the bottom of the lock on the outside if you ever have the internal batteries die (still have to enter codes, of course).

If your I-Phone can open, any I-Phone can open.

I have the AUGUST lock on my home in the north

August Home | Smart Door Locks and Accessories

The one thing i dont like about it, it needs to search for the hub to connect to the web, so the 4AA batteries last about 4 to 6 months. So if i need to unlock, and i forgot to change the batteries, i may be SOL.

I would think all iPhone enabled locks have the same issue. In TV, I have a YALE lock, that I can program codes into. I always have 1 throw away code, in case someone needs to get in.
