My friend is not seeing emails from a group. The web master says that she is receiving and opening them. Is there a way to find out who is opening them?

I am guessing there is a mix-up in the email address, your friend needs to talk to the webmaster and have them check for similar emails, or an incorrect email associated with the friends account.
And to your original question, since the emails never arrive at your friends account, there is nothing they can do without contacting the webmaster.

My guess is that someone else also has her password to the group and/or has changed the email address that emails are sent to.

Suggest that she first change her password to the group, then verify that her email address is correct in the account.

my mailing from our neighborhood group keep going into my spam folder until I added the sender as a contact and marked the mail as good... I have yahoo. usually any mail with a bunch of contacts (addresses) listed it gets thrown into spam unless I tell yahoo it is a trusted source.
