Smile Xfinity mobile service

I found posts about this from 6 months ago, but I'm looking for updated info on anyone's experience with xfinity's mobile service. Is phone service good? Do yo find their wifi hotspots pretty much anywhere, as they are telling us? We don't use a lot of data ( maybe 3 mb/month) but don't want to be surprised with a big charge for that. Thanks for any help you can give me to make my decision.

Started with Xfinity Mobile last July and still love it. Have the $12/gb/month plan and rarely go over that. When we do, like this month when we're away and have limited access to wifi, we still only pay $12 for each gigabit of data we use. No large overage charges. Way less than what we paid with Verizon and we still have access to the Verizon network. Not leaving anytime soon

I have had it for over a year, and have had no problems. I don't know about the wifi hotspots because I have unlimited data for $45 per month.

Thanks for the help. When we finally decided to make the switch from AT&T and went to the xfinity store to do it, they said we can't bring our IPhone 7 Pluses to Xfinity. Seems they have a chip that won't work on the Verizon network. We still have a year's payment on both phones and AT&T won't buy them back unless you want it for a future bill credit. So either we figure out how to sell them in a 3rd party market or stay with AT&T for another year. It's a dilemma.
