The OP is looking for an all-in-one service company. So, if Dean's won't cut your grass, won't maintain your irrigation system, won't trim your shrubs, and won't provide a multi-year termite contract, they are definitely not an all-in-one company. Massey will do all of those things (except trimming shrubs), plus they will provide pest control and fertilizing. Massey is not always the best at these services, but if you want an all-in-one company, I don't who else to suggest.

I've lived inTV 7 years and used to use Massey and now use TruGreen (doesn't do termite stuff). However, I am currently shopping around. Deans is "big" in our neighborhood and does do mowing and termite. Termite stuff is the problem I find. This house is due for the "big renewal after 5 years) - currently with Massey. Massey wants $798 and Deans wants $498 (both if bundle with other service). I am currently rethinking termite stuff. Both aforementioned want to put bait stakes in the yard (funny that neighbors with Deans don't have bait stakes in their yard but think they are covered for termites). I can get termite bait stakes for all around the house (say about every 10 feet), and install myself (come with auger attachment for drill) for about $110 plus spread termite granules around the house for another $50. Of course this does not include any kind of termite damage contract and I suspect that if you sell, you be looking at a big initial inspection cost in order to sell the house. Other than termite, I've found that Massey, Deans, and TruGreen are about the same. Deans' yearly price was about the same BUT only do 6 treatments a year but TruGreen does 10 and Massey appears to be monthly.

I recently renewed my initial termite contract, and went with Massey because they provided a 10-year renewable contract. Dean's would not provide any multi-year contract, only a year-to-year agreement. So, they can cancel your agreement or raise your rate at any time.

Also, I have read everything about their lawn services on their website, and it says nothing about mowing the lawn. I know they did this in the past, but I'm not sure they now provide this service to new customers. Am I missing something?

Dean's does not provide any irrigation system maintenance or repair, or shrub trimming.

Accept the fact there is no such service and you will have multiple vendors for different services. Anyone you initially hire for yard or pest control will be different in a year. Add in trim bushes, sprinkler maintenance, weed control, house washing, window cleaning. I had trees that fell over in my yard and the landscapers cut around them and never informed me. Welcome to the villages! Sorry I’m so cynical.

Sorry to disappoint you. I you look at the list that everyone is listing, I've fired them all and I'm trying Dean's for lawn fertilization at this time. None of them do everything. The issue is they subcontract out parts of their care and it isn't like Joe or Tom does all the lawns, spraying, fertilizing, hedge trimming, weeding, and sprinklers. Every service has their good employees and really bad. Meet and talk to your neighbors to find out they trust and use. That will give you a better idea if the persons that services your neighborhood are trustworthy or not.

Thought that's what I wanted to do but having a all in one just didn't work well...having a specialized company do what they do best was the best solution. I have a lawn company, fertilizer and pest lawn control co, exterior termite control control and I handle the exterior perimeter pest control and spray myself...I think I ended up being a few bucks more but I feel I'm getting a better quality service from each and if im not then I am changing 1 company, not 4...

All in one would be preferable but unfortunately these big companies do not do a good job for all.

Not a good strategy in today's work-ethic deprived environment. When you inevitably become unhappy with one of the individual services, you face the dilemma of having to find another jack of all trades outfit. There are few.

Not really going to happen. We use Florida Pest Control for all things pest, termites (subterrain and drywood) termite bond, lawn fertilization, weed control and lawn pests. Not going to lie, it isn't cheap. Lawn mowing w/edging & blowing: CleanGreen Lawn Service. We cut our own bushes and pull weeds/spray in our rocks. Good luck on your new home purchase.

The junk Augustine will never improve, no matter what lawn company you use. Cheaper to rip up and install good sod. No worries on shrub trimming, with the spec plants it will be years before they grow more than a few inches. Still waiting to see if they will surpass a foot in two years.
South of 44 just need a filter on irrigation, and good to go for a year or more. Faster to call the guy. We have 3 in our neighborhood.

...

Suspect the services under fertilize.

Applying this 4 times a year at half rate resulted in a huge improvement of my palm and the lawn.
