Default Approximate cost of interior painting

I have a 2100 sq ft designer and would like to have the interior painted. Can someone please tell me a ball park figure of what to expect for the cost to do this?

Also, who do you recommend or not recommend?

We used Investment Painting Contractors and it was $1650 for all walls (no trim or ceilings), everywhere but closets, in my Jasmine designer which is aprox. 1600 sq ft. Very, very happy with them and their work.

Investment did ours 7 years ago, they were in and out in one day, great job. They took down all the blinds, curtains, face plates, and mask where needed. At that time they charged a $1 a square foot. A 2100 SF home would be $2100, that doesn't include trim and doors, but does include materials, also doesn't include the ceiling.

Before getting a price, you need to decide whether or not to paint the ceilings. This is a large part of the project, but it can make a huge difference, especially if your house needs to be brightened up.

Oscar says he gave a 2nd coat but the trim top and bottom is only one time so you can see the difference in the right sunlight. One is slightly lighter than the other and he wouldn’t come back and redo it.

We used Oscars many times both inside and out. Great to work with and very pleased with results and price.

Red face Best Interior and Exterior Painters

We had the exterior of our home which we sold six months ago and the interior of our new home completely painted by Juan’s Paint Company. Great attention to detail and both homes looked fantastic. Highly recommend. He gives free estimates and has been painting in The Villages for over 10 years. The number is (352) 602-3059 or email at juanscomp1995@gmail.com[/email].

I wondered the same thing. I think it is the difference between men and women. Men are much more willing to tell you what they paid for something, but women seem to be offended if you ask.

For us it’s a generation issue. My parents in their late 80s will not say anything about how much it cost. So could be because it’s none of our business, but mostly don’t want to hear they paid too much, and don’t want to feel stupid. The younger generations do the research.

On TOTVs someone may tell you you overpaid, didn’t do research, check with seniors vs crimes, or get ARC approval. Plus it’s in writing for all to see.
