Not that I recall, but a simple phone call to customer service will give you the exact answer.

If going with the white gutter system that we "all" have, the ARC would likely give it a quick OK if anything was required. If however you wanted some color other than white or say a copper gutter system, the ARC approval should definitely be sought.

Telephone number for Community Standards here : VCDD Deed Compliance - Lake County

FWIW - I noticed this sentence on that page, too: Modifications: Alterations to the exterior of the home or lot require architectural approval.

Yes, but that has nothing to do with whether they should get approval or not.

I don’t know the answer, seems like something that should get approval (it’s an exterior change) - BUT it also seems like something that no one would complain about.

Or, if you want an answer in writing, go to Districtgov.org and email customer service.

No. The builder did a very minimal job of putting guttering on houses. In my case I found water backing up into my house and lanai and put gutters almost all the way around my house diverting potentially damaging water away from the house. Many neighbors have done the same.

I don't know which district you live in but if it's D13 which is where I live, I was told by a woman I talked to at the ARC office that the developer wants to sign off on new gutter installations in D13 so ARC approval is needed.
